At Laurel Oaks Estate, couples can choose between two beautiful outdoor ceremony locations, each offering its own unique charm.
✨ The White Pergola – A timeless and elegant option, the pergola creates a stunning backdrop for exchanging vows. Surrounded by open fields and classic brick columns, it can be styled simply or dressed with florals and draping for a personalized touch.
✨ The Peninsula at the Pond – For a truly romantic setting, couples may say “I do” on the peninsula overlooking the sparkling water. With the fountain in the background and nature all around, it offers a serene and picturesque space perfect for an unforgettable ceremony.
Both ceremony spots provide breathtaking views and flexibility to match your wedding vision, ensuring a memorable beginning to your forever.
How do I reserve my date?
To secure your date, we require:
✔ A signed Event Rental Agreement
✔ A non-refundable 30% booking deposit
Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and are not held without both items.
What is the payment schedule?
- 30% due at booking
- 50% due 60 days before your event
- Remaining 20% due 30 days before your event
Events booked within 30 days must be paid in full within 7 days of booking.
Is there a damage deposit?
Yes. A refundable $500 damage deposit is required for all events.
The deposit is returned within 30 days after the event provided there are:
- No damages
- No excessive cleaning
- No rule violations
- No unpaid balances
Can we visit the venue before our wedding?
Absolutely!
Each event includes two complimentary site visits.
Additional visits may be scheduled for $50 each.
What happens if we need extra time?
Access to the property is permitted only during your contracted rental period.
Additional time is billed at:
$50 per 30 minutes
This applies to early arrivals, extended setup, cleanup, or late departures.
Do you offer a Grooms Room?
Yes!
Our private Grooms Room is available for an additional fee and includes access from:
9:00 AM – 10:30 PM
The room remains locked and accessible only to those provided with the access code by the couple.
Can guests use the cottage or other accommodations?
Only registered overnight guests may access accommodations.
Our cottage, glamping tents, horse trailer retreat, and RV sites are intended for lodging only and may not be used as post-wedding party locations or gathering spaces.
Do we need wedding insurance?
Yes.
All events are required to carry Special Event Insurance listing:
Laurel Oaks Estate as Additional Insured
Proof of insurance is due 30 days before the event.
If animals are participating in your event, they must also be included on your policy.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes.
Alcohol service is permitted through approved and professional vendors.
Please note:
- No service to minors
- Alcohol service must end by 10:00 PM
- The renter assumes responsibility for guest conduct
What time does music end?
Music must conclude by:
10:00 PM
To respect neighboring properties and overnight guests, after-parties and excessive noise are not permitted.
What time do guests leave?
- Guests must depart by 10:30 PM
- Vendors must depart by 11:00 PM
Are pets allowed?
Yes, with prior approval.
Pets must:
- Remain leashed at all times
- Never be left unattended
- Be included on your event insurance policy
Can guests interact with the animals?
For everyone's safety, guests are not permitted to pet, feed, chase, tease, or handle any animals on the property unless specifically invited and supervised by Laurel Oaks Estate staff.
What decorations are allowed?
Allowed:
✔ Bubbles
✔ Flameless candles
✔ Approved grass seed
Not Allowed:
✘ Open flames
✘ Fireworks
✘ Firearms
✘ Rice
✘ Confetti
✘ Nails, staples, or items attached to venue structures without written approval
Smoking & Driving
- Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
- Smoking is never permitted under the event tent.
- Driving on grass is prohibited except in approved parking or designated staff-approved locations.
What happens if we need to make changes?
We are happy to help!
However, changes requested within 72 hours of the event—including tent sides, heaters, fans, layout adjustments, or other setup modifications—may incur additional labor fees.
What if we need to cancel?
All payments are non-refundable.
If your date is successfully rebooked, remaining balances may be waived.
Why do we require a designated contact?
To keep communication clear and stress-free, each event must have one primary point of contact.
This person will receive venue updates and assist with day-of decisions, allowing the couple to relax and enjoy the celebration.
